1st, I considered, "Why is Barbie at a Sci-Fi / Fantasy convention?" Then I seemed close to and all of the reasons had been also staring at Barbie.
Barbie Izquierdo
Barbie Izquierdo is a Philadelphia native whose firsthand encounters with hunger and poverty have produced her an anti-hunger activist and nationwide speaker on the subject. She lives in Lancaseter, PA, with her two young children, Leylanie Rodriguez, seven, and Aidan Rodriguez, 5.
Barbie has labored with Witness to Hunger in Philadelphia and seems in the documentary "A Location at the Desk."
